Think Strategically: Review client RFPs, engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate, competitive sourcing packages.

Build Winning Partnerships: Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers and manufacturers who can deliver on cost, quality, and project schedules.

Deliver With Precision: Validate material quantities, manage supplier quotations, and ensure compliance with Buy American, MBE/WBE, and other applicable project requirements.

Stay Ahead: Manage multiple sourcing projects, anticipate challenges, and keep critical milestones on track.

Lead and Inspire (Senior Level): Mentor junior and mid-level Sourcing Specialists, share industry knowledge, and help strengthen sourcing practices across the team.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for sourcing professionals who know how to turn complex requirements into smart business decisions.

Familiarity with substation equipment , including breakers, capacitor banks, and related electrical materials.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, material requirements, and bid packages.

Experience evaluating vendor proposals, identifying commercial risks, reviewing contracts, and recommending supplier awards.

Strong supplier relationship management, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate across multiple business functions.

A proactive, results-driven mindset with the confidence to take ownership and deliver.

For Senior-Level Candidates: Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop less-experienced sourcing professionals while providing guidance on complex sourcing initiatives.

What Will Set You Apart:

Direct sourcing experience within electric utility T&D or substation EPC projects.

Established relationships with utility equipment manufacturers and suppliers.

Experience sourcing engineered materials and long-lead equipment for major infrastructure projects.

Knowledge of supplier prequalification, project compliance, and material estimating.
