The Role
We are seeking a Senior Solution Consultant – Maintenance & Reliability with deep, hands-on experience in plant-based industrial operations and a strong command of maintenance and reliability best practices. This role is ideal for a professional who understands how maintenance organizations operate in the real world and can translate that understanding into clear, outcome-driven solution strategies.
In this role, you will partner closely with Sales and customer stakeholders to enable value-based selling, helping industrial organizations quantify and realize improvements in uptime, labor productivity, maintenance cost, and operational risk. You will engage confidently with Plant Managers, Maintenance and Reliability leaders, and Operations executives, serving as a trusted advisor who can connect maintenance execution challenges to tangible business outcomes.
This position goes beyond traditional solution engineering. Success requires the ability to diagnose maintenance and reliability challenges, articulate what best-in-class performance looks like, and design solutions that align technology with proven operational practices. You will play a key role in shaping how customers understand and adopt modern, digitally enabled maintenance execution.
If this opportunity excites you, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all of the qualifications:
How You Will Make an Impact:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Lead Value-Based Sales Engagements
Partner with Sales to support complex enterprise sales cycles across industrial markets (chemicals, oil & gas, mining, power, discrete manufacturing).
Translate maintenance and reliability challenges into quantified business impact , including downtime reduction, labor efficiency, backlog reduction, and asset availability.
Contribute to ROI models, business cases, and value narratives aligned to customer priorities.
Serve as a Maintenance & Reliability Subject Matter Expert
Bring practical expertise across preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance strategies.
Discuss maintenance execution topics such as work order lifecycle efficiency, planning and scheduling effectiveness, backlog management, and repeat work.
Provide informed guidance on maintenance KPIs and performance improvement opportunities.
Design Outcome-Oriented Solutions
Assess current-state maintenance processes and define future-state workflows aligned with best practices.
Align solution design to operational objectives rather than product features.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposed solutions are scalable and realistic for plant environments.
Lead High-Impact Demonstrations and Workshops
Conduct discovery sessions, solution design workshops, and tailored demonstrations for technical and executive audiences.
Customize demos to reflect real plant scenarios and maintenance use cases.
Address technical and operational questions with credibility and clarity.
Collaborate Across the Go-To-Market Team
Act as a strategic partner to Account Executives throughout the sales cycle.

Proven track record supporting complex, multi-stakeholder B2B sales cycles from discovery through technical win, partnering with Account Executives on opportunity qualification, deal strategy, and close plans.
Demonstrated ability to lead structured discovery that uncovers operational pain, quantifies its business impact, and maps decision criteria, stakeholders, and buying process.
Experience designing and delivering tailored demonstrations and workshops built around the customer's actual workflows and value drivers rather than product feature tours.
Hands-on experience building business cases or ROI models and defending the assumptions with operations, maintenance, and finance stakeholders.
Experience scoping pilots or proofs of value with clearly defined success criteria, and contributing to RFI/RFP and technical questionnaire responses.
Preferred:
Background in value engineering, value consulting, or economic justification of operational initiatives.
Pre-sales experience at an industrial software or technology vendor (e.g., EAM, APM, MES, connected worker, mobility, or industrial analytics) selling to operations and maintenance buyers.
Familiarity with a formal value-selling or qualification methodology (e.g., Value Selling Framework, Command of the Message, MEDDPICC).
Track record of measurable pre-sales contribution, such as technical win rate, influenced pipeline, or deals supported to close.
Experience positioning against an entrenched incumbent or a customer's in-house/status-quo alternative.
Comfort leading whiteboard-based discussions on maintenance processes and value drivers.
