Essential Functions and Primary Duties

Interpret results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation to more complex statistical analysis

Complete the gathering and cleaning processes for data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and quality

Use statistical methods and techniques to identify patterns, trends, correlations, and anomalies, and extract meaningful insights

Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate data findings effectively

Identify KPIs and develops metrics to track and measure business performance

Collaborate with data engineers and IT professionals to optimize data collection, storage, and retrieval processes

Maintain expertise in industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to data analytics, business intelligence, visualization, and reporting.

Gather, cleanse, transform, and integrate data from multiple internal and external sources while maintaining data integrity and governance standards.

Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate insights to technical and business stakeholders

Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable business recommendations for audiences at all organizational levels.

Build scalable tableau reporting using parameters, actions, filters, LODs, drilldowns and interactive visualizations.

Develop and maintain Tableau Prep workflows to automate data cleansing, transformation, integration, and preparation of data from multiple sources

Communicate effectively to convey complex data findings to both technical and business executives

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python scripting, and Power Query for data manipulation and analysis

Experience using REST APIs integrations, and automation of data extraction and transformation workflows.

Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and concepts for both descriptive and inferential statistics

Experience developing and maintaining dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel, or comparable business intelligence platforms.

Proven experience with ServiceNow and Snowflake or Data Lake for data retrieval and extraction

ServiceNow Incident and Operational analytics including performance metrics.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, information science or related field plus three (3) years of experience as a data analyst, data scientist, BI analyst, or related profession OR a combination of education and experience equal to seven (7) years.
