Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end browser automation using Playwright and JavaScript or TypeScript.

Create reusable fixtures, page objects, test data utilities, and test helpers that support stable and maintainable automation.

Automate critical user journeys, cross-browser scenarios, and API-level validations based on approved test requirements.

Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines and publish actionable results, traces, screenshots, and execution reports.

Investigate flaky tests, isolate defects, collaborate with engineering teams, and continuously improve test coverage and execution time.

Required Qualifications

Experience Required: typically 4+ years in software testing or automation engineering; align the final threshold with the approved requisition.

Hands-on proficiency with Playwright and JavaScript or TypeScript for browser-based test automation.

Experience creating maintainable test frameworks using fixtures, reusable components, assertions, and test data strategies.

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, DOM behavior, browser developer tools, and cross-browser testing concepts.

Experience validating REST APIs, handling authentication flows, and testing application integrations.

Practical experience with Git, code reviews, and execution of automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.

Strong debugging, test-design, defect-reporting, and communication skills in an Agile engineering environment.

Experience working in iterative software delivery teams, participating in planning, defect triage, and release validation as appropriate to the assignment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with visual regression testing, accessibility checks, or component-level testing.

Familiarity with Docker, cloud-hosted test environments, and parallel test execution.

Exposure to performance testing or service virtualization for complex application workflows.
