Job Description

An employer is seeking a Software Asset Management Administrator to work remotely for a large aerospace client. This individual will support the Asset Management Global Wealth Platform (GWP) project within the Service Excellence group and will focus specifically on software asset management. The current Configuration Management Database (CMDB) contains missing, incomplete, and inaccurate records, and this resource will help improve data quality while establishing and driving SAM best practices. The SAM Administrator will support several workstreams related to CMDB reconciliation, implementation of ServiceNow SAM Pro, and ongoing IT Asset Management activities. This individual will be responsible for managing and optimizing processes related to the deployment, maintenance, and utilization of SAM Pro. They will also partner with both technical and non-technical users to understand software requirements, maintain licensing and compliance standards, and ensure users have access to software that appropriately meets their business needs.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Software Asset Management (SAM) Administrator or Analyst 2+ years of experience working with ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) 5+ years of experience using Software Asset Management tools, with SAM Pro strongly preferred Previous experience working within an IT Asset Management team Previous experience within the aerospace industry
