Help Shape the Future of AI in Pharmaceutical

What if your expertise in pharmaceutical development, formulation science, process development, and technical operations could help artificial intelligence better understand how pharmaceutical products are developed, optimized, scaled, and commercialized?

At Volga Partners , we're connecting experienced pharmaceutical professionals with opportunities to contribute to the development and evaluation of advanced AI models.

We're seeking experienced CMC Scientists and Technical Development professionals who can apply their scientific expertise, technical judgment, and industry knowledge to evaluate AI-generated pharmaceutical content.

This isn't a traditional pharmaceutical development position. You won't be developing formulations, conducting laboratory research, overseeing technology transfers, or supporting commercial manufacturing operations. Instead, you'll evaluate complex scientific and technical content, identify inaccuracies, assess scientific reasoning, and provide structured feedback that improves AI model performance.

Your pharmaceutical expertise is what matters. AI experience is a plus, not a requirement.

Important Note: This is a freelance, task-based role designed for those seeking supplemental income. It’s essential to understand the nature of freelance work—tasks will be assigned as they become available, and work may be irregular or intermittent.

The Opportunity

As a CMC Scientist / Technical Development Subject Matter Expert (SME) , you'll serve as a subject matter evaluator, helping assess the quality, accuracy, completeness, and scientific validity of Pharmaceutical AI-generated content.

You'll analyze scientific, formulation, manufacturing, development, and technical operations scenarios, identify errors or unsupported conclusions, and provide expert feedback grounded in pharmaceutical science, development principles, and industry best practices.

Your contributions will help improve how AI systems understand and respond to complex pharmaceutical development and manufacturing challenges.

What You'll Do

Evaluate AI-generated pharmaceutical content: Assess scientific, technical, and development-focused responses for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and alignment with industry standards.

Review pharmaceutical development information: Examine content related to formulation development, process development, manufacturing science, technology transfer, scale-up activities, and commercialization.

Analyze scientific reasoning: Determine whether AI-generated conclusions are supported by pharmaceutical sciences, engineering principles, development methodologies, and industry best practices.

Identify errors and inconsistencies: Recognize unsupported claims, technical inaccuracies, flawed development approaches, and missing scientific context.

Validate information: Reference applicable FDA requirements, ICH guidelines, pharmaceutics principles, and accepted pharmaceutical development practices.

Provide expert feedback: Clearly explain findings, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend technically accurate corrections.

Support AI quality improvement: Apply project-specific evaluation criteria, scoring guidelines, and quality standards.

Complete independent evaluations: Use designated online platforms to complete assignments accurately and within established project timelines.
