About the role

Our client, sourcing and category management organization is seeking a Senior Analyst, Category Management (Sourcing Operations) to join their team. As a Senior Analyst, Category Management (Sourcing Operations), you will be part of the Category Management organization supporting Sourcing Operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Coupa sourcing event experience, strong bid analysis across multiple rounds, and the ability to coordinate effectively between sourcing strategy and backend event setup.

**Job Title:** Senior Analyst, Category Management (Sourcing Operations)

**Location:** Remote

**Pay Range:** $50/hr **What's the Job?**

+ Create and run sourcing events in Coupa, ensuring the events are structured for accurate comparisons and actionable outcomes.

+ Analyze supplier bids across multiple bidding rounds and translate results into clear sourcing recommendations for the sourcing team.

+ Support event setup by understanding how to structure events and communicate setup requirements to consultants responsible for backend configuration.

+ Apply Coupa Sourcing Optimization (CSO) experience to help teams evaluate complex bids and scenarios, including cases where carriers serve different locations.

+ Coordinate across teams by connecting the sourcing strategy to event setup and execution, validating that the configured event aligns with the intended sourcing approach.

**What's Needed?**

+ Hands-on Coupa sourcing experience, including creating or supporting sourcing events (not only routine purchasing transactions).

+ Event setup knowledge: ability to structure an event and clearly communicate setup requirements to consultants handling backend configuration.

+ Bid analysis capability: experience comparing supplier submissions across multiple bidding rounds and using the findings to recommend next steps.

+ Experience with Coupa Sourcing Optimization (CSO), including comfort working through complex sourcing scenarios and optimization needs.

+ A strong sourcing or buying foundation, such as experience as a buyer, sourcing analyst, or consultant using these tools and workflows.
