Work within ServiceNow incident, problem, change, and CMDB processes to keep inventory and system records accurate

Partner with automation teams to build relationships between systems such as ServiceNow, Ansible, SCOM, vSphere, Satellite, etc

Partner with the Vulnerability management team to implement and enforce security best practices, ensuring that private cloud hosts, virtual machines, and associated services meet CVS Health's security and compliance standards, including HIPAA

Collaborate with the Vulnerability management team to conduct regular vulnerability assessments and apply patches, updates, and system hardening to mitigate potential threats as needed

Performance Optimization and Capacity Management

Continuously assess platform performance and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reliability

Analyze system logs, monitor resource utilization (for example, with vRealize/Aria Operations), and perform tuning to achieve optimal cluster and workload performance

Identify opportunities for self-healing and proactive remediation to increase uptime

Monitor infrastructure capacity to ensure that compute, storage, and network resources are effectively allocated and anticipate future infrastructure requirements

Documentation and Knowledge Sharin g

Maintain up-to-date documentation of platform configurations, architecture diagrams, runbooks, procedures, and policies

Share knowledge and expertise with junior team members, facilitating skill development and fostering a culture of continuous learning
