About the role

Our client, a leading Automotive Manufacturing and Industrial Automation company, is seeking a **Controls Engineer** to join their team. As a **Controls Engineer** , you will be part of the **Engineering Department** supporting the **Automation, Controls, and Manufacturing Systems Team** . The ideal candidate will have **strong analytical skills** , **excellent communication** , and **a proactive problem-solving mindset** which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Controls Engineer

**Location:** U.S.A.

**Pay Range:** $43H/r - $46 H/r

**What’s the Job?**

+ Develop, modify, and troubleshoot control systems in accordance with GM GCCS standards.

+ Support automation projects, equipment integration, and manufacturing system upgrades.

+ Work with PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, and plant floor control systems.

+ Participate in commissioning, startup, and validation of automated production equipment.

+ Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to resolve controls-related issues.

**What’s Needed?**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.

+ Strong experience working with GCCS (Global Common Controls Standards) in GM manufacturing environments.

+ Experience with industrial PLC programming and troubleshooting.

+ Knowledge of automotive manufacturing systems and automation standards.

+ Ability to support controls integration, debugging, and startup activities.
