Deltek Functional Engineer

Our client, a professional services organization is seeking a Systems Analyst to join their team. As a Systems Analyst, you will be part of the Niche SOR Application Support team supporting Deltek CP/TES functional operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and a collaborative mindset that align successfully in the organization.

**What's the Job?**

+ Serve as the Deltek CP/TES functional resource with overall responsibility for support and operations within the Niche SOR Application Support team.

+ Resolve production issues in the Deltek ERP ecosystem and implement new capabilities that support client service and the KPMG Deltek platform value proposition.

+ Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to optimize the use of Deltek CostPoint and troubleshoot functional issues across the Deltek ERP environment.

+ Identify opportunities to streamline business processes, enhance system capabilities, and partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement improvements.

+ Bridge technical teams and business users by aligning system functionality with business goals, including training sessions and documentation for end-users.

**What's Needed?**

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.

+ 7+ years of experience working with Deltek CostPoint ERP in a functional role.

+ Demonstrated expertise in professional services organizations, with federal engagement support experience highly desirable.

+ Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including federal compliance, plus familiarity with Deltek modules such as CostPoint, Time & Expense, and reporting tools.

+ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively while balancing technical and business needs.
