**Description**

**Information Security Corporation, a SAIC** company is seeking an experienced **C++ Software Develope** r to help build state-of-the-art security software. The successful candidate will have at least two years of professional C++ development experience and strong Linux and Windows development skills. The position is remote and reports to the Director of Software Development in Oak Park, Illinois.

**Job Responsibilities:**

+ Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications in C++.

+ Participate in requirements analysis, software design, code reviews, and product reviews.

+ Collaborate closely with QA to deliver reliable, high-quality software.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.

+ Contribute to product architecture and technical design discussions.

**Qualifications**

+ Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience

+ At least two years of professional C++ software development experience.

+ At least two years of Linux and Windows software development experience.

+ Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ U.S. citizenship and the ability to successfully complete a background check are required.

+ Active Top Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:

+ Qt framework and related development tools

+ Linux and/or Windows internals

+ Cryptography or Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

+ Java

Target salary range: $100,001 - $140,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
