Job Title: BSA / AML ANALYST
Type: Contract, long term expected
Compensation: W-2 negotiable
Work Model: Remote
Responsibilities
+ Analyze financial activity, transactional data, and other relevant information to identify potential suspicious activity, financial crime risks, and emerging trends.
+ Support regulatory compliance and effective risk mitigation.
+ Utilize expertise in financial crime analysis and investigative techniques, including identifying unusual or potentially suspicious activity.
+ Use data analysis and research tools, including Excel and other systems used to analyze transactional activity and identify patterns or trends.
+ Understand BSA/AML regulatory requirements, financial crime risks, and applicable compliance standards.
+ Document investigative findings clearly and articulate risk effectively.
+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate findings and insights.
Requirements
+ At least 2 years of BSA/AML experience or more.
+ Experience with Verafin preferred.
+ CAMS certification a plus or preferred.
+ Experience working in a financial institution preferred.
