Business Development Manager (Legal AI/Technology) | 100% Remote

An innovative, high-growth legal technology company is hiring a Business Development Manager to expand its presence in the Plaintiff Personal Injury space.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal, Case Manager, or Attorney who wants to transition into a client-facing, consultative sales role while leveraging their legal industry expertise.

The company has seen strong success with practitioner-led sales and is looking for someone who can build credibility quickly with attorneys, partners, and legal staff by speaking directly to the workflows, challenges, and demands of the personal injury market.

Location

+ Can be based anywhere with a strong Plaintiff Personal Injury presence including Chicago, California (if in CA, LA preferred), Washington, Oregon, Texas, Florida, Arizona, and similar markets.

Key responsibilities

+ Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close

+ Build relationships with personal injury law firms and legal service providers

+ Lead product demonstrations and consultative presentations

+ Identify client pain points and position technology solutions effectively

+ Maintain and grow a healthy sales pipeline through CRM management

+ Partner with internal teams to enhance customer experience and market strategy

+ Generate new business while identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts

+ Stay current on legal technology trends, AI applications, and developments in the personal injury space

Requirements

Ideal background

+ 2+ years of experience in Plaintiff Personal Injury law

+ Experience as a Paralegal, Attorney, or other legal candidate

+ Strong communication and relationship-building skills

+ Interest in technology, innovation, and AI-driven solutions

+ Ability to speak confidently about legal workflows with law firm decision-makers

+ Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort in a fast-paced environment

Preferred qualifications

+ Business development, account management, or sales experience

+ Experience with personal injury, medical malpractice, or workers’ compensation matters

+ Familiarity with medical records, case evaluation, or litigation support processes

+ Experience selling or implementing legal technology solutions

Compensation & benefits

+ Base salary: $80,000–$110,000

+ Uncapped commission structure with strong earning potential
